JCW Challenge Style Bonnet (Hood) Vent Scoop. This piece was designed right off the MINI Challenge series competition cars to fit your 'S'-model or John Cooper Works street vehicle; it directs cool ambient air from the hood scoop to the turbocharger when vehicle is in motion.
Fabricated out of 18-gauge, 304 stainless steel, its profile shape is a fiber-laser burnout and step-braked rolled to create its curved profile. The curved vent scoop comes with stainless steel hardware and nylon expanding nuts which require zero drilling of the hood. The curved vent scoop can be fitted with both the OEM aluminum heat shield (small modification required for fitment) and OEM sound deadening.
